The technology of the modern world is becoming more like the worlds portrayed throughout out the history of the science fiction genre. Smart phones, worldwide computer networks, instant communication, monolithic multinational corporations and GPS navigation are all taken for granted by modern culture but were the stuff of fantasy a mere 20 years ago. But yet the world itself seems to be the same old place it always has always been. Wheres my Jet pack?2 looks to explore the visions of the future from the past. “

An opening reception will be held Saturday  August 25th from 6pm-10pm. There will be food, drinks, fun, and of course ART!
